The gang took it way back again on this one and revisited an old project from 2015. Following behind the pretty solid album Acid Rap comes Travis Scott’s Rodeo. The rather dense trap project is arguably what catapulted Travis into the limelight. Some might even speculate that it set the stage for trap music going into the late 2010’s. There was also some debate among the crew about how this album compared to Chance’s Acid Rap. At any rate, tune in and hear what the HHH crew had to say.

The gang took it way back on this one and revisited an older project from 2013. After reviewing the arguably disastrous album The Big Day by Chance the Rapper, Hungry Hip-Hop didn’t want to leave listeners with such a scathing Chance review and thought it would be a good idea to review Acid Rap, which arguably is his best album. (It just made sense to.) Tune in and find out how this album fared against its widely criticized descendant.

Surprise. BROCKHAMPTON is back again with its sixth studio album Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine. The thirteen track album features a lot of familiar pop sounds from the group and touches on some pretty heavy subject matter in some places. All in all, though, it didn’t hit quite well with our hosts. Join us today as we explore what worked well for this project and what didn’t.

Today the gang takes a look at Vic Mensa’s latest project I-TAPE. There were a lot of opinions about the latest work from the Chicago rapper. Some called it “derivative,” others “corny”. In fact, this album almost received a certified Ragú from the team. One member, however, stopped that from happening. Tune in and find out exactly why this album was such a failure among the group.
