This week, Bernsteinn brings us songs of resistance, hope and change. This show originally aired on the 4th of June while the country was not only months into a pandemic and the resulting quarantine but also in the midst of social upheaval that was set off by the murder of George Floyd by the Minneapolis PD and the inaction of the PD administration dealing with the officers responsible for Floyd's death. This show is packed with not only Dan's songs of resistance but with the songs of artists like Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, John Lennon, Neil Young, Phil Ochs, Leonard Cohen to name a few. We here at Hunkered In The Bunker thought this show along with the show immediately following this on from June 7th (Songs of Redemption) would be a a good way to kick off the Hunkered In The Bunker Podcast. After these two shows we will be going back to episode 1 and releasing them chronologically.
