Carmella and Harry are on their ‘just friends’ date in the Red Fort…
Harry says he’s getting a taxi home, so they both get stuck into the beer…
Judy says hillwalking with Bob has given her an appreciation of the ‘natural world’ and she has come up with an idea for a new business venture – a refill shop.
She is going to rent a shop in Huntsford and sell loose dry goods, shampoo bars etc.
The pub is quiet, and Duncan and PC Evans are having a chat. She’s feeling tired…
She has been on ‘hospital watch’ – a guy from The Addington broke his arm trying to run away from the police and she had to stay with him. It’s boring and exhausting….
Bob has been talking to Robbie. He has got a job as a mechanic over in Brazil and is learning Portuguese. He and Fernanda have rented an apartment…
Even so, he was still interested to hear about Fiona’s baby. Asked re: sex, weight etc.
Alastair presses for an answer to his proposal. Chantelle is evasive – says she’s used to being independent and is worried Alastair will ‘take over’ her life…
He tells sob story of beloved cousin who was attacked by a gang and later overdosed
Tommy remarks that Trevor is very cheerful. Trevor reveals that he had a hot date.

Chantelle is doing Vicky’s nails. Confides that Alastair proposed and she’s undecided
If you’re not sure, you must refuse, says Vicky. Don’t sleepwalk into marriage.
The barmen try to find out more about Sharon. Ask about where she’s from…
Sharon reveals that she’s from the East End – they can tell by her accent, so it’s no big secret. When asked about her family and their line of work, she’s evasive.
The two friends discuss who should replace Jordan. They want someone memorable
Maybe Tommy? No – too unreliable. Out of the frying pan etc. Sam? Too busy…
Fiona is upset – she confesses to Raymond that she feels she has failed because she had to have a Caesarean. She didn’t have the birth she planned and wanted…
None of that matters now, says Raymond. You have a healthy boy – enjoy him!
The band are laying down their first track. It’s a slow and painstaking process.
Sam is very professional, and Matt constantly tells her how great her vocals are.
Raymond treats himself to an early evening drink. Dan’s showing Trev something on his phone. What is it, Raymond asks. Sure you want to see, they reply.

Fiona comes in to buy a sandwich. She’s at the counter when her waters break…
Poor Ryan doesn’t know what’s going on. Vicky shouts at him to call an ambulance
Alyson came as soon as Ryan called her. She’s at Fiona’s bedside. Fiona’s in labour.
Nothing’s going to plan. First her water’s broke in Carmella’s, and now the labour seems to be going so slowly. The playlist of supposedly soothing music isn’t helping.
Raymond’s turned up at the hospital. He’s heard Fiona’s in labour and is fretting…
Alyson tells him not to worry, but admits it is a protracted labour. They’re considering an emergency caesarean if it goes on much longer…
The band have just finished their celebratory gig. Mario thanks them for coming…
Then Duncan takes the mic and announces that Fiona has just had her baby…
Alastair turns up with a bag of food. Chantelle wasn’t expecting him tonight…
