Hupitit Pâri

In this weeks episode of the Hupitit Pâri Podcast we are joined by a special guest - Robin Maxkii. Robin is a Native American technology activist, filmmaker, and writer. Maxkii is known primarily for her work on broadening the participation of Native Americans in education and technology. She co-starred in the Microsoft-funded PBS series "Code Trip" showcasing diversity within the technology industry. In 2016 Maxkii organized and directed the first national American Indian collegiate Hackathon, focused on addressing the digital divide and access to technology in rural and under served communities. Two years later, Google launched a documentary about her journey in technology.

In this episode of the Hupitit Pâri Podcast the host Terance Fields talks with Jake Tiger (Seminole.) At just 23 years of age Jake is a well accomplished Actor, Model, Bodybuilder and Historian for the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. 

In Episode 5 of the Hupitit Pâri Podcast the host Marlin and Terance discuss food sovereignty with fellow Tribal member Mee-Kai. Mee-kai is the current Pawnee Nation Nation diabetes program coordinator and is a Pawnee Nation seed preservation/food sovereignty advocate. 

In episode IV of the Hupitit Pâri Podcast Marlin asks Terance about his exciting news of running for the Pawnee Business Council. Terance discusses his concerns, and views for the future of the Pawnee Nation if elected to the Business Council. 

In Episode 3 Terance and Marlin have a surprise guest on. The topics discussed are; living a healthy lifestyle, Covid-19 and Native communities, Exercise advise, and a little Monday motivation. 

On the second episode of Hupitit Pâri the hosts Marlin and Terance have their very first guest on the episode. Elisha Pratt, Pawnee’s very own Vinny Chase is on this week as the Irari’s (Brothers) talk about his adolescence years, work, and acting career. Elisha has been cast in movies as well as seen work on HBO, his new upcoming role in the forthcoming movie Wild Indian  will be premiering at Sundance Film Festival Later this month. 

In the very first episode for Hupitit Pâri (Pawnee Star) the hosts Marlin Miller and Terance Fields discuss their backgrounds and where they come from. After a little background introduction they discuss briefly their ideas for their tribe in the coming future.
