In winning the county title this year, Blacks and Whites bridged a 13-year gap for county honours and found themselves very much in the hunt for Leinster honours.

There was still the matter of Commercials of Dublin to work out but with a provincial final at stake, both teams should serve up a cracking game of hurling in UPMC Nowlan Park on Saturday afternoon.
