Over the course of 15 years, Alynda Segarra has been constantly pushing and evolving the sound of their band Hurray for the Riff Raff as well as the boundaries of folk music. The New Orleans-based band describes their latest album, 2022’s Life on Earth, as “nature punk” and give Cheryl Waters an explanation of what exactly that means to them and the importance of being tuned into nature on this episode of Live on KEXP.
