Duck, duck Drag Queen! This week, the queens are tasked with a scripted acting challenge paying homage to notable gossip queen and homosexual, Ross Mathews ... I mean Truman Capote. Taking inspiration from iconic reality star moments, the queens must over act and shine against their scene partners. No nuance here, this week runway is the Black and White Ball. And the highly anticipated question of the season, "Who Should Go Home and Why?" was met… with cop-out answers from the biggest competition. Oh heavens to Betsy… Johnson! It’s time for another design challenge, this time creating looks to match collections from the iconic and trailblazing designer Betsy Johnson. But first, it’s time for the honored pre-design challenge mini challenges, the reading challenge! Learning from past mistakes, the reads were kept to the best of each girl. Split into three groups, each queen was tasked to make an outfit inspired by and would fit in their given collection. There were great gowns, beautiful gowns even, some wonky hemlines and a lipsync kiss that had us gagging. It’s all this plus more tea on an all new X Is For Show!

Once upon a time, The Snatch Game asked the girls to do impersonations of famous celebrities, filled with references, jokes, and visual identifiers indicating the intention of the performance. In recent seasons, the performances have trended towards meme-style shorts or YouTube deep dives. Some girls had one joke (and panicked when it was used…by the host?) while some girls had too many jokes THAT NO ONE UNDERSTOOD (literally, Suzie, you’re perfect but no one could understand so *cut* the voice), and yet there were girls rewarded for… giving up?
