What is partiality?

• Partiality is an unfair bias or favor towards one person over another
• It is favoritism.
• Having love or fondness for one and not another.

It is having that bias, that favoritism, that love based only upon outward appearances

• It is looking at someone only from the outside and deciding whether or not they are worthy of God’s grace.
• That is partiality.

I love to hear other Christian’s share of what Jesus has done in their lives

• How Jesus has been with them through some gnarly circumstances
• How Jesus has revealed himself through tragedy 
• How Jesus has delivered them through dark days and deep jungles
• How Jesus has been a stream in the desert in the driest of times.
• How Jesus has brought them peace and joy everlasting in the midst of a life that has been challenging.

I love a testimony that bears witness to God’s grace beyond measure

•It is our declaration of Freedom!
•There is freedom in Christ

Freedom to be who we have been called to be by Christ
•Now freedom is not a license to sin, but it is a power that has been given to actually overcome
•We have been set free from the bondage of sin
