Alkisah…
Alkisah…is a podcast series emerging from a storytelling workshop—about and around an exhibition, organized by Hyphen—.
This time, the programme is held in conjunction with Figures, dedications, and civilisations, a presentation by Hyphen— as part of the Singapore Biennale 2025: pure intention at the Singapore Art Museum.
Figures, dedications, and civilisations unfolds across four interconnected sites—Griya Seni Hj. Kustiyah Edhi Sunarso, RUCI Art Space, RUBANAH Underground Hub, and the Singapore Art Museum—each forming part of a single body of work. Through this context, it traces an ongoing conversation around Sesudah banjir itu (When the flood is over)—a citizen-led initiative to conserve and contest the cycle of dioramas at the Museum Sejarah Nasional beneath Monas, Jakarta.
Held on 8 November and 22 November 2025, 20 December 2025, and 7 January 2026, participants of the workshop developed podcast episodes that reflect how they saw, heard, and experienced the Singapore Biennale exhibition at the Singapore Art Museum, and how they interpreted those encounters.
