(4:00) He makes his way into the Ocean Palace to find the flute that I missed. (13:30) After grabbing the flute and exiting the castle the fast way (dying), we journey past the River Monster and into southeast Hyrule. We need to find the last town, Kasuto, and then make our way into the Hidden Palace. (29:00) We enter the Hidden Palace! We need to find the Cross, fight Barba, and place the final crystal.

(5:40) We leave Nabooru and head north to Maze Island and the mountain town of Darunia. (17:00) We enter the Maze Palace and partake in some leaps of faith. (34:00) After beating Carock, Ben decides to wander around a bit now that he can "pull a Jesus" and talk on water. What does he manage to do in the last 15 minutes of the episode??

(0:00) We spend some time recapping what we've been up to and our initial thoughts after a few hours of gameplay. (9:20) We leave Midoro Palace and make our way rather quickly to the Island Palace (I think I call it the Ocean Palace a bunch of times...). (14:20) Astute listeners will hear Ben die twice in quick succession... that'll be problem for future Ben though. (30:04) After getting owned by floating wolf heads and really missing those lives... we restart the Island Palace, get introduced to Blue Iron Knuckles, and place crystal #3. (42:00) We leave Western Hyrule for new lands on the other side of the sea!

The second half of season 1 starts now, with Zelda II: The Adventure of Link! To say this game is contentious would be an understatement. Will the brothers love it? Hate it? Quit halfway through? Join us over the next 5-6 weeks as we try to place 6 crystals, avoid Blue Iron Knuckles, and try not to complain too much about this game (looking at you, Patrick).  

(0:00) We start off by chatting a bit about the history of the game and our initial thoughts. (9:20) Link starts at the North Palace and we must find our way to Parapa Palace. (16:30) Once in Parapa Palace, Ben makes short work of it and its aptly named boss — Horsehead. (30:30) Having placed his first crystal, Link goes on a classic gather quest — snagging a Trophy, Magical & Heart Containers, new spells, and new friends. Then, (43:01) Ben makes many bad choices trying to climb Death Mountain in search of the Hammer.
