The Biden administration used US taxpayer dollars to juice supply for electric vehicles & attempted to force people to purchase them. This did nothing but raise car prices by 20% in four years. The Trump administration announced new vehicle mileage standards for manufacturers, driving costs down. But is it a win to have "Tiny Cars" built in the US?
