Didn't Special Sessions of the West Virginia Legislature used to be called for urgent or emergency situations? And the call would only include a handful of bills, right? Well, not with Gov. Jim Justice! The recently concluded special session ended with 37 bills being passed and more than $400 million dished out. Delegate Jim Butler (Mason) highlights some of the bills in today's episode.

Tim Throckmorton is today's guest. He's a former pastor in Ohio who now serves with the Family Research Council. Tim says, "Good government can't fix us, but bad government can destroy us." Voting for the most pro-family values candidates is a must!

Hurricane Helene has left destructive flooding in Western NC. There is a huge loss of life and property damage. Roads and bridges are completely wiped out and several people are still missing. On top of all that, relief efforts have brought back reports of government corruption. It's hard to know what's true and what's not. And what about reports of weather modification?

Today's guests shed some light into the questions. Stephen Horn is an investigative reporter who was in Burnsville, NC when the storm first hit. And the Patient Advocate Bulldog has been coordinating relief efforts and has intimate knowledge of federal response to disaster areas.

West Virginia's culture is unsustainable. Does anyone care? Certainly the politicians and media do not! As Sean Keefe says, "The TV is not telling us to get mad about our fellow West Virginians dying."

It does tell us about Covid, vaccines, inflation, wars, natural disasters, etc. But WV is losing its culture as people are dying at a higher rate and at the same time people are not having children. 

Sean and Jeff Smith (from MOVCAC.com) analyze the data from WV's Vital Statistics to find alarming numbers, including increases in excess deaths NOT listed as Covid. So what's causing the increase in all-cause death in the state?

Jenny Beth Martin from the Tea Party Patriots believes Sen. JD Vance did well and clearly won the debate. She talks about the March To Victory effort by her organization.

In the horrific aftermath of destruction caused by Hurricane Helene, several Christians are responding with help. Many churches and ministries have stepped to help with flood relief drives, money, etc.

Two guests on today's show are doing their part. Greg Irby is pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Salem, VA. His church is reaching out to churches in the region that have suffered damage. And Bear Robinson with Blue Yonder Ministries in Martinsburg, WV made a quick trip to the mountains of NC, TN, and VA taking supplies to those flood ravaged areas.

Election Day is just about one month away and as it stands now West Virginia voters will not have an opportunity to hear all 5 gubernatorial candidates debate on the same stage. It's a shame! The Republican nominee and current state attorney general Patrick Morrisey does not seem interested in debating. Since there are 5 candidates (3 third-party, Republican, Democrat) on the ballot, shouldn't all 5 have the chance to debate? Erika Kolenich is the Libertarian nominee. She share her thoughts on the debate and her campaign on today's episode.
