I Already Told You That

Now here's an I Already Told You That first bringing an all new feature...a GAME SHOW! Bryan kind of already knows Galaxie 500 but he really doesn't...he sort of knows the other band that the lead singer/guitar person was in, called "Luna"...but even then he is not so sure. So to test his knowledge after listening to a whole shows worth of songs, Melissa will put Bryan's knowledge to the test in the game, "Is this Luna or is this Galaxie 500??". Fun times are had by all and the super warm and fuzzy tones of Galaxie 500 were enjoyed all the way through. As always please check out the mix linked below!!

You say you wanted some easy listening? Well here you go! I guess we are back on a roll..this week back in the 1991 pocket with the band Chapterhouse and their stone cold classic record "Whirlpool". Melissa decided after the epic Dead Can Dance episode to hone this one in a bit and just focus on one record from this band that she loves. Even if you have never heard of Chapterhouse you have heard their influence on 90's era "alt-rock" and hiphop. Check it out it'll only take you an hour this time and you might just get up off your duff and shake it a little bit!!

This weeks's Chapterhouse "Whirlpool" mix is no really a mix but rather the whole album plus a couple tracks demonstrating the two separate releases and the quality difference on the tracks. Listen to the episode to hear what we are talking about.

We suggest you listen to the YouTube music playlist as that has the tracks Melissa uploaded from her copy of Whirlpool. Spotify does not allow us to upload music.

NUMBER 50!!! That's right we are over the hill with this one, we made it to 50 eps! And this is a fun one. Melissa and Bryan get into the importance of relying on lessons learned from Little House on the Prarie.. and then finally they get into talking about the stellar 1990 classic album Reading, Writting, and Arhimatic by the great band The Sundays. Even though this album has been a staple in their house Bryan needs a bit of a reminder and is better for it.

This week we get into the band Wire! A great band that was apart of the foundations of punk and post punk and is still going strong. Their music and influnce didn't completly miss Bryan's notice but Melissa helps him go a bit deeper with a focus on their brillant first three records and beyond. Give it a listen.
