Melissa reminds us all that even though they can be irreverent and not all their lyrics age well, The Dead Milkmen bring some catchy songs that are super fun to listen to. It's the holidays and we are on the road again. So we thought we bring back a gem of an episode from about a year ago. In this episode Melissa reintroduces Bryan to the band, "His Name is Alive". She didn't think she needed to reintroduce this band as it has been playing in their house for the last 20 years, but this time she thinks it's gotten through. Join Melissa and Bryan for some laughs and a trip through the magnificent work of "His Name is Alive" and maybe some Ronnie James Dio...

Oh boy, this is the big one...it's been a long time coming, you guessed it...Bryan guessed it! It's THE SMITHS!!! Melissa has been holding out on us but finally the time has come for her to reveal her true love for the band that Bryan never understood. But now he does and so will you! Enjoy a trip through The Smiths four albums and singles compilations. As always listen to the mix AND listen to our new favorite music podcast called, "The Vinyl Detroit Podcast" both are linked here....!!

This week, Jane's Addiction!! Maybe an odd...addiction for Melissa considering the other music she was listening to at the time but with giant t-shirt on she was there for Jane's front row. Bryan on the other hand kinda heard of Jane's Addiction through friends and Mtv of course but as usual he was in the dark...But no longer! Melissa brings the noise and the weirdness of Jane's Addiction into Bryan's goldfish brain and he's into it!
