Welcome to Letting God Flow Through the Storm a powerful and faith-filled podcast hosted by Kayla M., a devoted C.N.A., woman of strength, and fearless believer who has walked through storms with her head held high and God by her side. This space was created for women who are tired of pretending to be strong and ready to find real strength in their vulnerability, their faith, and their truth.
In each episode, Kayla opens her heart to share the raw, unfiltered journey of trusting God through chaos, heartbreak, uncertainty, and pain. As someone who has weathered life’s toughest storms and come out stronger on the other side, she knows what it’s like to feel lost, overwhelmed, and unseen. But she also knows the miraculous power of letting God take control of keeping Him as her right-hand man even when the road didn’t make sense.
Here, women empower women by telling their stories, lifting each other up, and choosing faith over fear. Through real conversations, spiritual encouragement, and unapologetic truth, this podcast serves as a reminder that you are still worthy, you are still chosen, and you are still loved, even in the middle of the storm. Your past doesn’t disqualify you. Your pain is a part of your purpose.
Whether you’re in the valley or climbing back to the mountaintop, Letting God Flow Through the Storm will remind you to keep your eyes on the light, your heart open to healing, and your spirit ready for breakthrough. Don’t give up your blessings are already in motion.
This is your safe space. This is your reminder. This is your moment.
You are not alone. You are enough. And with God, you will rise.

This episode is deep, raw, and transformational. Arshisa shares her powerful journey of breaking free from the chains of bondage leaving a marriage that no longer served her, starting over, and stepping boldly into her purpose.
Now a thriving businesswoman and spiritual coach, she’s helping other women release their own chains and reconnect with the divine goddess within.
As a coach, author, and transformational speaker myself, this conversation truly hit home. It stirred up emotions and brought confirmation to some things I’ve personally been going through. Sis, this one is real, and you don’t want to miss it.
Tune in for healing, power, and purpose.
Because SHE is free and so are YOU.

In this raw, unfiltered, and truly moving episode, I sit down with the incredible Ashunta J, a 39-year-old woman with no children, recently divorced, and boldly starting over after surviving the storms of life literally and spiritually.
From the emotional aftermath of Hurricane Helen, to navigating toxic family dynamics, abusive relationships, and the pain of broken marriage, Ashunta shares how she’s reclaiming her identity and rediscovering wholeness in a season of restoration.
This episode meant a lot to me personally not just because of the strength in Ashunta’s story, but because the entire episode was the true definition of unscripted faith.
As a single mother, I had to record this episode at the park, with all the sounds of the environment and the responsibilities of motherhood pressing in but nothing stopped us. We didn’t let distractions or challenges shake the power of what was being birthed in that moment. This was real-life ministry in motion.
If you’ve ever had to start over from the ground up tired, unsure, but still believing this episode is for you.
It’s about surviving, healing, and becoming whole again, one brave step at a time. Tune in, be encouraged, and know this: Your survival wasn’t the end it was the beginning.

In this soul-awakening episode, I’m joined by the powerful and divinely aligned Shekinah Griffin a Holistic Care Consultant, Certified Yoga Instructor, and Doula who embodies the true essence of what it means to live and lead holistically. She shares her wisdom on why holistic care continues to be overlooked in modern healthcare, despite its life-changing potential.
Shekinah’s lifestyle is rooted in natural healing plant-based foods, cold-pressed juices, herbal teas, and hand-crafted wellness products all paired with yoga, meditation, and Pilates to nourish the body, mind, and spirit. But beyond her knowledge, what she brought to this episode was enlightenment.
She asked me questions that challenged me, softened me, and awakened something deeper within me. I realized in real-time that it’s okay to be questioned even on your own platform. This conversation reminded me to stay open, stay willing, and stay ready, because you never know when your moment of revelation will come.
Shekinah didn’t just join my show she shifted it. She held space so gracefully that it felt like her show. And in that space, I was able to witness my own growth.
This episode is raw, spirit-led, healing, and full of truth.
Listen in you’ll feel the transformation.

In today’s episode, I sit down with Michele a 38-year-old mother, writer, dance ministry leader, and warrior of faith whose story is still being written in real-time.
With a daughter turning 19 this weekend and no steady job, Michele is currently navigating life while homeless, supporting a college student, and healing from a relationship she thought would last. Yet through it all, her trust in God runs deep.
She opens up about learning to trust God in one of the hardest seasons of her life when there’s no clarity, no comfort, and no plan B. Her growth has come through:
This isn’t a testimony of what was it’s a testimony of what is. Michele is in the middle of the storm, and still she praises. Still she believes. Still she trusts that God is turning it all around.
Her faith will stir your spirit. Her story will remind you that God doesn’t need the situation to look good to start doing good things.
Tune in to be inspired, challenged, and reminded that faith in the dark is still faith and sometimes, it’s the strongest kind.

I AM HER, YOU ARE ME
Together As One We Can Be
HOW IT STARTED
I started I Am Her, You Are Me…
I was fighting personal battles, experiencing pain, and trying to find the strength to keep moving forward. I did not start this podcast because I had everything figured out. I started it because I needed a safe place to:
• Be honest
• Use my voice
• Share my experiences
• Connect with other women
• Begin my healing journey
THE MEANING BEHIND THE NAME
When you sit down and truly listen to another woman’s story, you may discover:
• Her pain looks like your pain
• Her struggle sounds like your struggle
• Her testimony gives you hope
• Her healing encourages your healing
• Her story reminds you that you are not alone
That is the meaning behind I Am Her, You Are Me.
Too often, women remain silent because we are afraid of being judged, misunderstood, or exposed. Instead of opening up and helping each other, we sometimes compete, compare, or tear one another down.
But over here, we do not compete. We come together.
I want to win, and I want to see you win too.
Together As One We Can Be.
