London Papamichael sits down with Steven "Kid Dynamite" Navarro, an American professional boxer signed by Top Rank. At the age of 21, Navarro turned pro in April 2024 and was dominant in five outings before the calendar turned to 2025. A sensational prospect at 115 pounds, he was an amateur standout who made the finals of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials. He comes from a family with deep boxing roots. His father and trainer, Refugio Navarro, was a junior featherweight with 10 pro fights, and his uncle, Jose Navarro, was a 2000 U.S. Olympian at 112 pounds and a pro junior bantamweight who retired in 2010 with a record of 27-6 with 12 knockouts.
