Whether it's the feeding of the 5000 or the healing of a leper or the raising of the dead the miracles of Jesus, in and of themselves, stand alone as divine moments. However, if all we do is see them as stand-alone events we miss something significant - every one of them adds further insight into the character and nature of Jesus, none more so than the miracle of Jesus walking on water.
