I AM PASTOR DEB

We Want To Hear From YOU!

I am here this morning to tell you that your gift is powerful, prophetic, and purposeful…
So stop whispering like heaven handed you a Post-it note instead of a calling.

God is not the one shushing you.
 Life is.
 Fear is.
 People are.

Today, we unmute what hell is trying to muzzle.

(The Life and Times of Daniel Part 3)

God has pulled back the curtain for in our now.  We are living what it looks like when God pulls back the curtain, and so the depth of the darkness we are basking in

Today, we’re living in a world where the ugly underbelly of humanity is no longer hidden:

• Greed parades in the streets.
• Selfishness gets celebrated as independence.
• Deception trends faster than truth.
• Manipulation is marketed as a strategy.
• Sexual sin has become our declaration of freedom.
• Political upheaval has become the norm.
• Satanic agendas are boldly promoted in music, TV, and policy.
• Children’s pain is ignored, minimized, or exploited.
• Human trafficking headlines grow weekly.
• Leaders are indicted while still campaigning.
• Wars erupt while peace talks crumble.
• Gun violence and school shootings headline the week.
• Economic instability shakes families daily.
• Celebrities normalize witchcraft and dark spirituality.

And the only reason we haven’t fainted like Daniel
is because we have been desensitized by a culture soaked in darkness.

Daniel was trafficked into Babylon with one goal: to be reprogrammed, rebranded, and remade into something God never called him to be. Babylon wanted to strip him of covenant, dilute his convictions, and mold him into its image.

But Daniel’s life does something for us—something uncomfortable, but something necessary.
It shuts down the excuse of “I’m just a product of my environment.”
Daniel makes that excuse inadmissible in Heaven’s court.
Babylon was built to break him… and he still stood.
Why… How?
Because before he ever stepped foot in Babylon, he made a decision in his heart about who he belonged to. And that decision made him Babylon-Proof.

Lord, I’m desperate — not for things, but for You.
Desperate for Your peace in chaos, Your strength in weakness, and Your will above my own.
Teach me to see desperation not as defeat, but as divine redirection.
Because when I’m out of options, you’re never out of miracles or revelation
 Amen.

Jonah may have been disobedient, but he understood that his disobedience was what caused this horrific storm. When they threw Jonah overboard, the expectation was that he would likely drown. But Jonah didn’t drown. Nope. God arranged an Uber of the deep, do give in a ride —a giant fish, a whale—to keep him alive and give him a place to sit and get his attitude together.

Verse 17 reads,  “Now the Lord provided a huge fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.”

Jonah bought a ticket to anywhere-but-purpose, boarded a ship of disobedience, and wound up swallowed by circumstance. But here’s the beauty: what looked like punishment was actually protection. God didn’t let Jonah drown; He gave him a three-day sit-down session in the belly of grace.

Now picture it: dark, slimy, smelly—no Wi-Fi, no exit—just Jonah, God, and a whole lot of time to think. Because sometimes, you don’t learn in the spotlight; you learn in the stomach of a situation that forces reflection. Jonah didn’t just get swallowed; he got still. He didn’t just sit down; he woke up.

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You for opening our eyes today to see Jesus for who He truly is — not an angel, not a messenger, but the very Word made flesh.

Thank You for a Savior whose blood is pure, whose power is unmatched, and whose love is unshakable.

Help us to never settle for a smaller version of You, and to live boldly in the truth that our salvation is not a maybe — it’s a matter of fact.

Strengthen our faith, silence every lie, and let our lives proclaim that Jesus is Lord, now and forever.

In His mighty name we pray, Amen.

You’ve heard the headlines. You’ve seen the worry in people’s eyes.
The government shutdown has created real strain — and while you may not feel the pinch personally, this is not the moment to simply whisper, “Thank God it’s not me.”  It’s time to show God how truly grateful you are — not by stressing less, but by bringing stress levels down in the world around you.

We Want To Hear From YOU!

Let’s play a little mind game this morning.  If you were the devil, how would you win souls?  We’ve been taught to picture Satan as a hideous creature — red skin, horns, and a tail — but that’s not the Bible’s description. Scripture says he masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). This means he can appear appealing, inspiring, and even godly. He can preach, sing, serve, smile, and seduce — all while scheming.

Satan can take the form of anything, and here’s the kicker — he’s well aware of what’s appealing to you.  He has studied our habits, our patterns, our pain points, likes, and dislikes. He knows what peaks our interest and how to impress us.

While most believers don’t take the time to study his tactics, he’s been studying ours since Eden. He knows our type, our trigger, and our taste.  He knows what flattering words feed our egos.  He knows what to offer to bait your greed, and what version of “truth” to present that won’t raise your suspicion.

I would feel spiritually dishonest, like I was ducking and dodging Satan’s tactics while pretending to stand on truth, if I didn’t address the most recent “episode” shaking the Christian community.

What truly grieves my spirit is this: when a religious leader takes a sharp left turn, somehow saints feel led to go left too. Maybe not down the exact alley they turned into… but left is still left.

And wrong is wrong, no matter the degree.
