We Want To Hear From YOU!
Marriage is a spiritual covenant where two become one, but let’s be clear: a wedding in a cathedral doesn’t make a covenant.
Ceremonies are beautiful, but they’re not magical. The vows are not incantations. It is your commitment to God, your willingness to submit to His will, and your decision to walk out His purpose together that makes the difference.
God must be first, not your feelings.
He is the contract. He is the covering.
And to the Singles…
If you’re not married, but in a relationship or desiring one, prayer should start there. And if you’re uncomfortable praying with them, or they flinch at the idea of spiritual alignment, ask yourself:
“Is this my soulmate, or just someone I’ve got chemistry with?”
We often don’t want God’s input; we want His approval after we have made our decision. But the most mature and hardest prayer you can ever pray is:
“Lord, have Your way. Let Your will be done.”

Now, some of you may be a little too sanctified for what you are about to hear. I began to reflect on the mindset of our culture today, where songs are often about materialism, shine, and bling. Unfortunately, we don’t hear many songs, including gospel songs, that exalt the truth that no material item can satisfy us beyond the flesh or that looking down on another because you’re up should not be satisfying.

This morning, I want to discuss the illusion of independence. Independence is defined as freedom from outside control or support. The word independence was never recorded in the Bible because its very premise goes against the order of what God has established. From inception, God designed every living thing to rely on something else to sustain its own existence. Independence is not part of God's plan.

Walk obedient to the the word of God, being light in darkness
Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Matthew 5:16
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 6:1-2 ESV / 93 helpful votes
“Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.

“When Being Good Feels Like It’s Getting You Nowhere”
Let’s talk about that moment when life seems to be playing favorites… and you're not the favorite.
You know what I mean:
Let’s be real—it feels unfair. Like the universe got your order wrong and gave it to the loudest complainer at Table 4.

Stop scrolling like you're the appointed Watchman of the World’s Doom.
Start praying like someone who believes heaven still hears.
And walk today like someone whose peace isn’t based on world leaders, but on the unchanging King of Kings.
Because while the world is warring...
You can still worship.
While the world is groaning...
You can still grow.
And while the world is losing sleep...
You can still rest — because your hope isn’t in headlines, it’s in Him. The One who is the Great I am

So you see, it doesn’t matter what you look like, your marital status, your weakness, or your circumstances. God says in 2 Corinthians 12:9, NLT My grace is sufficient and that God’s power shows up best in our weakness
1 Peter 4:10, NIV Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms
God doesn’t call the equipped; he equips the called.
It’s not about our ability; It’s about our availability.
In closing this morning, I would be remiss if I let you dwell in the attitude that this is all about you, be mindful in the same way God can use you; he can and will use others too.
God will use the most unlikely individuals to be a blessing to you. There are some who are equipped and have made themselves available to be used by God to bless you, and they don’t always come wrapped in a perfect package; they may seem like the least likely ones that could be a blessing to you. Treat everyone with the love of Christ. Don’t miss out on your blessing by making assumptions about another.

Now I thought this message was just for the younger ladies… you know, the ones still figuring out how to block him and bless him at the same time.
But the Holy Spirit tapped me on the shoulder like, “Uh-uh. This is for all the ladies—crowned, uncrowned, seasoned, married, single, divorced, dating, done, and delivered.”
Because there’s a woman we hardly ever talk about.
She didn’t lead a nation like Esther.
She didn’t make it to the kids’ Bible stories nor is she a topic at most women’s conferences.
But Queen Vashti?
Set boundaries, so we could be inspired to be fine and free.

With sin and Satan running rampant, as a believer with a desire to walk according to the righteousness of God, please tell me if you know how we are not supposed to be at least a little uncomfortable. If you are a child of God and comfortable in the midst of sin and unrighteousness, please email me, I may need to schedule a one on one with you.
Bottomline is this, we would not have a need for a Savior if things never got uncomfortable.
James 1:2-3 reads “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance”.
The definition of perseverance is to be persistent in doing something despite the difficulties or the delay in the achievement of success.
So I say to you this morning, stop complaining about what’s uncomfortable in your life, and start thanking God for what He has allowed to remain consistently comfortable, then watch him guide and protect you through that uncomfortable minefield.
