In a week where our country's political debate regressed fifty years to discussions of monoculture, I was nourished by a beautiful conversation with Nela Trifković and Goran Ðurić about crossing boundaries, embracing in betweenness, and opening up to other people's lives and experience through arts engagement. We spoke about the loss of childhood to war, art being fundamental to resilience, resistance and transformation, and the power of communing through creative endeavour.
