Our Bible story from 1 Samuel 17 will help preschoolers and kids learn that God can always be trusted. God's people, the Israelites, were at war with their enemies, the Philistines. When the Philistines bought out a giant named Goliath, God's people felt unsure and afraid. A young shepherd boy named David (who would later become the king of Israel) trusted that God could give His people victory. With a sling a few stones, God worked through David to defeat Goliath. David knew he could trust and count on God, and God did not disappoint! In a world where preschoolers and kids can wonder who they can count on, we get to teach that we can count on and always trust God.
