What if nothing is wrong with your life… but something inside of you is still whispering, there’s more for me than this?
Sometimes wanting more can make us feel guilty. We look around at everything we once prayed for—the stability, the peace, the people we love, the life we fought so hard to build—and wonder, Why isn’t this enough? Am I being ungrateful?
But maybe gratitude and desire were never meant to cancel each other out.
In Episode 64 of I Am Spice — The Podcast, Spice continues the conversation from Episode 63 and explores what happens after survival mode begins to loosen its grip. Because once life becomes quiet enough to breathe, you may finally be able to hear a question you haven’t asked yourself in years:
What do I want now?
We talk about the guilt of wanting more, why peace doesn’t have to be your final destination, changing without needing a crisis to justify it, and giving yourself permission to explore versions of yourself you haven’t met yet.
Maybe healing eventually stops being about everything that happened to you. Maybe healing becomes living.
You don’t have to destroy the life you have to expand it. You don’t need everyone to understand your dreams. And you certainly don’t need anyone’s permission to discover what else might be waiting for you.
You are allowed to be grateful and still want more.

What happens when you finally make it out of survival mode… and suddenly there’s nothing left to fight?
Sometimes we spend so many years becoming the woman who can survive anything that when life finally gets quieter, we don’t know who we are without something to survive.
In Episode 63 of I Am Spice — The Podcast, we’re talking about the strange space that comes after survival—the moment when peace finally arrives, but your mind and body are still waiting for the next problem.
We talk about the identities we build while surviving: being the strong one, the independent one, the fixer, the caretaker, the woman who always says, “I got it.” And we ask a question that can change the way you see yourself:
Is this who I am… or is this who I needed to be?
This episode isn’t about getting rid of the woman who survived. She deserves your gratitude. She protected you. She carried you. She got you here.
But maybe she doesn’t have to be on duty anymore.
Maybe you can keep the strength without carrying everything. Keep your independence while allowing someone to help you. Trust your intuition without constantly expecting something to go wrong.
And maybe instead of asking, “Who am I now?” you can begin asking:
Who do I get to be now?

Puedes extrañar a alguien y no regresar.

Everybody tells you to choose yourself—until choosing yourself makes them uncomfortable.
We hear it all the time: protect your peace, set boundaries, stop people-pleasing, trust yourself, know your worth. But nobody talks enough about what happens after you actually do it.
What happens when you finally say no…and feel guilty? When you walk away from something you know wasn’t good for you…and still miss it? When somebody you love is disappointed because you stopped sacrificing yourself? When life finally gets quiet—and peace feels strangely uncomfortable?
In Episode 62 of I Am Spice — The Podcast, we’re talking about what choosing yourself actually looks like when it isn’t wrapped in a perfect empowerment quote.
We’re getting into boundaries, guilt, people-pleasing, self-trust, grief, loneliness, healthy relationships, breaking familiar patterns, and learning that somebody else’s disappointment isn’t automatic proof that you did something wrong.
Because choosing yourself doesn’t mean choosing against everybody else.
It means finally understanding: I matter too.
You can love someone and still have a boundary. You can miss someone and not go back. You can disappoint someone and survive their disappointment. You can feel guilty and still make the healthy choice. And you can love people deeply without disappearing in the process.
Maybe choosing yourself isn’t about putting yourself above everyone else.
Maybe it’s about finally stopping putting yourself beneath them.

Sanar heridas.
Elegirte a ti.

Growth is often celebrated as something exciting, empowering, and inspiring—but what if no one prepared you for the grief that can come with it?
In this episode of I Am Spice – The Podcast, we’re having an honest conversation about one of the most misunderstood parts of personal growth: the emotional cost of becoming someone new.
Sometimes the healthiest decisions still break our hearts.
Leaving a relationship.
Setting boundaries.
Healing from trauma.
Choosing yourself.
Walking away from people you’ve outgrown.
None of these mean you’re moving backward. They simply mean you’re human.
We’ll explore why your brain naturally clings to what’s familiar, why healing can feel uncomfortable before it feels peaceful, and why missing your past doesn’t necessarily mean you’re meant to return to it.
Most importantly, we’ll talk about learning to honor the version of yourself that helped you survive—without allowing that version to determine your future.
If you’ve ever questioned your healing because it felt painful…
If you’ve ever mistaken grief for failure…
Or if you’re learning to embrace a new version of yourself…
This conversation is for you.
Remember:
You can love the person you used to be without living as them forever.
