One morning, while Jesus was teaching, the Pharisees presented a woman they claimed to have committed adultery. Attempting to trap the Messiah, they asked what they should do to a woman caught in adultery. Jesus's  response is a powerful moment that shows both mercy and justice. 
Then Jesus says, "I am the light of the world," and that's how we are to be in the world today, a light in the darkness.
