This podcast isn’t just something we make each week, it’s a ministry. Every story we share is meant to remind you that you are deeply loved by God, and that He’s still moving - right here, right now - through the lives of real people.
And this month is our Halfway to Sunday Pledge Drive: a time where we’re inviting you to come alongside us and help this ministry keep growing.
If you’ve been encouraged by what you hear, would you prayerfully consider joining us on Patreon? You’re not just subscribing, you’re helping share stories that point people back to Jesus.
Thank you for being a part of the Halfway to Sunday Community!

SHOW NOTES:
Raised in church but left “lukewarm,” Cassian Bellino longed to actually know God. After a pivotal season abroad in Thailand, and a pastor’s suggestion to “just go to seminary,” she built the resource she needed: The Biblically Speaking Podcast, where scholars unpack Scripture without the jargon. Cassian shares God’s string of confirmations (even a pastor on a plane), the viral “Torah” clip that drew both gratitude and hate, and why she keeps asking basic questions in public. We talk unemployment, spiritual attack, idolizing success, and the shift to surrender and dependence - including a 72-hour fast that re-centered her life with God. For anyone who feels late, confused, or embarrassed by what you don’t know, this conversation offers a shame-free path: ask honestly, learn humbly, and keep moving toward Jesus. No seminary required.
And as always, we start off the episode with what is bringing us joy and we know you will be so encouraged by this conversation. Listen free on Apple or Spotify, and join us on Patreon for an extended version of this episode as well as exclusive content!
