Welcome Back to another episode of I Cut My Way Out Podcast.  This week we are joined by State Farm insurance agent Joe Stovall.  Joe gives us game on investing in your life.  Life Insurance is a love purchase...Meaning you love your family enough so that when you pass away,  your love ones don't have to suffer in their way of living.  Joe also talks about how he began his professional career as a Chemist for Dow in Michigan, Whole Life insurance vs Term life insurance.  The importance of having health insurance and why the black delegation are skeptical of getting coverage historically.  It is definitely important to spread the knowledge and make sure our people, especially self employed, independent contractors make sure they have life insurance and health coverage.

The guys are back with another episode of the I cut my way out podcast.  This week we are joined by South Philly barber and entrepreneur Faheem Alexander (@fahdabarber).  Fah takes us down memory lane to his youth sweeping up hair and keeping his neighborhood barbershop clean and it was then that he decided that barbering was what he wanted to do.  Fah made a promise to his mother that if she bought him his first pair of clippers that he wouldn't ask her to buy him anything else and that those clippers would take care of the family forever.  Brother Faheem elaborates on the Philadelphia roots from beards to enhancements and the famous C line.  Faheem details his joiurney to servicing the Roots and other notable celebrities ultimately working on the set of Jimmy Fallon, Coming to America II amongst other projects.  These days Faheem Alexander spends his time barbering, running his own shop & building that he took ownership of in 2017 and being an ambassador for Gillette shaving cream and razors and the clipper company @CaliberBeauty.  We would like to thank Faheem for taking the time to chop it up with us.  We Hope you enjoy this episode!!!

The fellas return with another episode.  This week we feature Suge the barber, a Detroit native who like most was an athlete, but a rare condition shortened his football aspirations.  Suge left Detroit and hit hard times but was reluctant to return home where his support system was.  But during that time and struggle, Suge gained a passion for barbering by cutting charitably.  Struggling to pay for barber college, Suge made a way with the  help on others and faith in god and the rest was history.  We discuss his origins, the Detroit history and what makes the city unique and Suge's specialty..."The Man Weave"  Suge has an amazing journey and he's very transparent and vulnerable.  This will truly inspire and motivate.

Back again with another episode.  This week we converse with a great barber from Lafayette, Louisiana.  Phillip Walker aka @pskillz_337 was a HS scholar who was poised to become an engineer before the passion to barber overwhelmed him.  Pskillz_337 has established a great reputation in the barbering industry with his trademark "NO ENHANCEMENTS."  PSkillz actually elaborates how that came about and what it has evolved to.  His thoughts on if he woud ever use enhancements.  He speaks on being an ambassador for Wahl, his future goals, and would he ever leave the state of Louisiana.    Hope you all enjoy.  First Zoom episode

Had the honor and pleasure to visit with a great barber and shop owner @Freestylzzbarber out of Decatur, IL. Episode was recorded on site in his shop that he owns.  We talked about how Freestylzz matriculated to Decatur from Chicago, his origins cutting hair and becoming a barber.  His father was a barber so the culture was in him.  Mike owns his shop called Freestylzz shop in Decatur, IL and he discusses the obstacles not only running the shop business but acquiring the building and upkeep of the building and business.  Very inspirational... Ownership isn't easy, but it's the real definition of freedom!
