Welcome one and all to the first entry into our January theme of Hillbilly Horror month! This week we’re getting down and dirty with some official clown business as we take to the road in a stolen 1972 Cadillac Eldorado with the 2005 Rob Zombie Horror/Revenge sequel, “The Devil’s Rejects”. While Pete is well versed in the Zombie-verse, Aaron is sitting down to this (And 1000 Corpses) for the first time! Join us as we discuss what kind of fans we think this movie is for, as well as Rob Zombie’s kink of hot-wifing through the art of film. We frequently come back to how Zombie’s Tarantino/Rodriguez flare is on full effect in this movie and how while it’s got it’s thematic problems, and how overall this film is a more competent and technical improvement to it’s predecessor; though we both still like it’s predecessor more. Also discussed today are Breaking down the Firefly family tree, how we wish we got more Tiny in this movie, and Ass, Ass, Sherri-Moons Ass! This and more on “I Didn’t Need to See That!”
