Gorehound and friend of the show, Tim Buel, stops by I Do Movies Badly again to pimp out his current music projects and further desensitize America's youth to blood and guts by discussing the New French Extremity! Though neither Tim nor Jim claim to be experts, the two still discuss the possible social and political roots of the transgressive subgenre, how it's a spiritual successor to the French New Wave of the 1960s, and why, perhaps, it hasn't had a long-lasting influence here in the States despite films such as Alexandre Bustillo & Julien Maury's Inside (2007), David Moreau & Xavier Palud's Them (2006), and Pascal Laugier's Martyrs (2008).
