We learn all about the college life and how sometimes it can feel odd being in charge of a bunch of people who are close to the same age as you. We also learn that after a couple years living in a dorm, nothing seems weird anymore.

Join us this week as we interview Heather Wing, an accountant for the city. We learn all about how city accounting can be frustrating but somewhat rewarding. We also learn about grants and how they're not really free money.

Join us as we talk to Elizabeth Dahl, the children's librarian at our local public library. We learn all kinds of things you never would have thought that librarians deal with. For example, people bathing with Clorox wipes at the computer station. We also discover that not many of the librarian stereotypes are true, at least not in this case. Plus, we learned there is a thing called the State Library Comission.

Also in this episode: Evan finds out you can't yell swear words loudly at the public library. Sam tries to sing a song. Both of them give Liz advice on her "dream" job. 

Note: We had some funky audio on this episode, but it was the first thing we ever recorded, and really didn't want to try and redo the whole thing. So you get it as is. However, with the addition of some new gear, funky audio will not be an issue in the future.

Join us for part two of Librarian Nation. This time we talk to Jenn Butler who is a librarian (duh) at the local college. We learn about fixing books, and the differences between a college library and a public library. We also find out that the Library of Congress system for organizing libraries is better for music and very hard to understand.
