When I was young, I heard my grandfather summarize a quote by Martin Luther King, Jr. He said "You aren't remembered for what you do when everything is going great, you are remembered for how you handled things when they weren't." This week, I talk a little about how that statement (and others) have helped me to be the man I am today.

Wherever you look, you will find another expert talking about building up your professional network. In this episode, I want to talk about strengthening your personal network.

Fight, feuds, squabbles, arguments...they're bad enough with strangers. When they are with family, they can be disastrous. This week, I talk about why we should end them.

When your friend is grieving, it is instinct to want to say something to console them. Sometimes, though, what we want to say and what we should say are not the same thing. In this week's show, I make a few recommendations about the things we shouldn't say.
