For as long as the United States has had a military, their transition to civilian life has been difficult. For some, the fact that they are responsible for their own utilities, food, rent, and clothing is something they have never had to deal with. Each branch has programs intended to help with this transition, but are they taking advantage of them. In addition to those we talk about, here are a few links to organizations that offer to assist:

Across the country, funding for the arts in elementary schools are disappearing. A vital part of the education of our children is fading into history. We need to find a better answer for the budget issues causing these decisions. I Don't Have The Answer, but it is out there. We need to find it together.

As we juggle everything in our daily life, parenting gets harder and harder. In this initial episode, take a moment to realize that we might not have the answers, but we're all trying to figure it out.
