I Don't Watch Horror

This time I discuss Hereditary with my friend Armin, who grew up in the culture this movie got its inspiration from. Hereditary was written and directed by Ari Aster.

This week I chat with my friend I haven't seen in years! we go on a tangent by the end, but the movie Ravenous is the main topic of discussion and the fact that this is a real life horror that many people have had to resort to in a bygone era, and even today.

This movie touches on many topics like nature v nurture and super Hero tropes. I have two gusts this week and this was my first time meeting one of them!

This week I watched the Sci-Fi Horror film Saturn 3, directed by Stanley Donen, and staring Kirk Douglass, Farrah Fawcett, Harvey Keitel, and a sexy robot. We also discuss horrors modest start in the film industry, and why there is often social commentary snuck into all the violence.

Probably one of the most quoted movies of all time, I discus what made this movie so great, the use of color and how ingrained into pop culture this classic movie has become.
