Having been sent to India for 3 days in preparation for our campaign with India Partners this week, Shawna put a lot of pressure on herself to bring her best to the campaign. After three nights of very little sleep, her body and mind were failing her on the first dayof the campaign.

She felt like she had failed. After a good, looooooong nap, the Lord gently reminded her that HE was the One doing the work. He’s God. We’re not.

Then, when Jesus calmed the storm for the disciples, were they at peace because the storm stopped, or because they realized they were in the presence of God?

We know we’re meant to live full on for Jesus and love people as he’s loved us. And when we don’t it can send us into God avoidance. But that’s precisely when we need to draw near!
