  • 021: Tokenism with Kim Huynh

    This episode hits different.

This episode is real talk on another level.

This episode taught us lots. And we hope it does the same for you, Boo Crew!

We spoke with Kim Huynh, (pronounced “one” because, you know, she's a real one), about tokenism - what it is, how we can avoid it, and hono(u)ring diversity with equity.

Kim is a Vietnam born, Kentucky based creator, speaker, writer on all things self love, self discovery, and spirituality. She's also an entrepreneur & biz owner!

We were lucky enough to chat with Kim about all things spirituality, tokenism, embracing diversity, and all the ways we seek or give love in how we show up in the world.

We're also totally gonna link up with her spirit sister and make an episode of it. That'll be fun AF.

Love Kim as much as we do? Give her a follow on IG!

  • 020: Every No Is a Yes To YOU: The Importance of Boundary Setting

Defining your personal boundaries and setting them consistently can be tricky territory!

Boundaries are defined as a definite place where your responsibility ends and another person's begins. In this episode Becca & AMQ discuss their journeys in regards to building an understanding for boundaries, and how relationships (the ones meant to stay) will thrive when they're in place!

Sometimes the misunderstanding of boundaries has us thinking of them as a way to keep people out, but really they're intended to be a beautiful way people can be in a relationship made up of mutual understanding and respect!

The most important aspect of boundaries is communication; which is just what Becca & AMQ are here to do!

Just when you thought the blowie talk was over...AMQ shares a story on how she learned what it all means! Confusing HS times, are we right? The convo escalated quickly when Becca dropped her mic, literally, and turned the audio into a mixtape of realness (whoops!)

Press play on some girl talk about all things blowies, beat drops & boundaries! What a combo platter of a pod!

Find yourself struggling with boundaries of your own? Don't trip chocolate chip! Check out the references in this episode that will hopefully help you understand the power and peace boundaries bring your life!

  • 019: Intuitive Eating with Emma Nacewicz

Intuitive eating. We've all heard it. It's become a buzzworthy term. But it's not as simple to implement as it may sound.

Emma aka on Instagram, is a clinical nutritionist, with a background in dietetics. You could say food is her thing. But even knowing the science behind much of it didn't change the fact that she's battled with her own forms of disordered eating too. *cue intuitive eating*

Emma did the work, got connected with her body and what it needed, applied her education, and now uses her anti-diet approach to nutrition to help other women feel comfortable in the skin they're in and worthy just how they are.

She talks to us about what prompted her weight gain journey, shares about how free she truly feels free in her body now, and gives some tips for how to start your own intuitive eating journey.

Emma, like us, advocates for health at every size. She also speaks about how humans with eating disorders don't have a certain “look.”

As soon as these borders up, AMQ is heading to Fire Island to join Becca and Emma!

And here's the book Emma mentioned!

As always Becca & AMQ loving hearing your feedback and takeaways slide into their DM on IG or email at

  • 017: Normalizing Ebbs & Flows of Bodies with Brynta Ponn

Body fluctuations, feeling comfortable and confident in cultural clothing, and quarantine lessons, oh my!

Brynta Ponn, a body confidence advocate, storyteller, amateur writer, and self proclaimed “all around awkward human being,” shares with us how it has taken her quite some time to feel comfortable in cultural clothing, walks us through how she navigates “bad body image days” and gets raw and honest with us about lessons learned in quarantine.

We get into what she wished she had known in her earlier years with respect to building a relationship with her body, and she discusses how she's working hard to ensure there is more representation of women who look like her - on social media and the world. And we think she's doing a dang good job at it.

We vibe with her sense of humo(u)r too (thank gawd with Becca's potentially uncomfortable would you rather question) She even giggled at AMQ's dad joke. So that was fun.

Let's show Brynta the love she deserves!
