In this episode  I sat down with Lauren from the Beer'd Al podcast. A show where they talk about two of the greatest things in the world. Beer and Weird Al. It is a great show, with a lot of positivity and a great raport between Lauren and her brother John, the regular co-host or the people she has on for the "very special" guest episodes. Either way it is always a good time and I really recommend you check them out. We talked about the hurricane, being a band kid, cooking, the gym, and assorted other stuff. It was truly a hoot.

I FINALLY got a chance to sit down and talk with Russ from one of my favorite shows, Infectious Grooves Podcast. So this bill was passed into law over a year and a half ago. It is just back in the news now because of two factors. 1.) This is a big election year, as most of the seats in the state are up for reelection. 2.) It goes into effect in a couple of months. There is hope that it will get hit in the post election veto session, but I honestly believe that is entirely dependent on how the elections fall out. Anyway I talk about this bill and all the things I see wrong with it. Also with the way people are dealing with it, and potential future ramifications of this. Even if you are outside of Illinois, you are going to want to pay attention to this, particularly if it sticks, it could get ugly.

It's a short one this week folks. As we head into the last holiday of the season here in the US the politicians are doubling down on driving division in this country. Everyone is talking about how great this country is because of the blue collar workers and what not, while still trying to turn the middle class against it self, and it's a little frustrating. SO I vented about it some. Hope everyone had a great long weekend, or if you were at work I hope the people enjoying the long weekend didn't make it too bad for you.
