Her background includes 16 years with the Defense Department finding creative ways to use available data to answer national intelligence needs and an MS in Resource Management from Central Washington University. She has two children and lives in Ellensburg with her husband. She served on the Ellensburg School Board for over 4 years, but had to resign in the summer of 2020 as she could not devote the time needed to both her business and the school board.

I have been baking with my mom for as long as I can remember! She learned to bake when she was growing up and has been generous enough to share her skills with me.I started routinely baking on Thursday nights over 10 years ago. It had been a long week at work and when I got home I collapsed on the couch and was so happy it was the weekend...and then I remembered it was Thursday. So I went to the kitchen and whipped up a batch of chocolate chip cookies to get me through the evening. The next day I took about three dozen cookies in to work to share with the office. They were gobbled up in about 2 hours! It was great to bring a little bit of joy to an otherwise stressful office. And so began my cookie Fridays at work.I focus on small batch baking to ensure the highest quality and flavor. My favorite cookies to make are snickerdoodles and lemon sugar cookies. Kia Ora, I'm Erin Keam from erinkeam.com. I offer mentoring, marketing, and mindset coaching.
In winter 2020, I was hit hard with SAD (Seasonal Affected Disorder). My coach told me to call a woman I didn't know every day... and turn that into a podcast, showcasing what they do. Some days were a struggle to pick up the phone, other (sunny) days I was on fire...but ALL my guests are amazing. Reach out to them! Oh, and I usually asked a question about their closet, as I love clothes, plus it can be extremely personal to women. I thank every woman who picked up the phone.
