Every week at work I take photos that I'm supposed to immediately send to Brayden, and every week I forget, and every week he very politely reminds me the next morning, and every week he promises me it's no problem even though it's almost definitely annoying. What a nice man. Every week.

Aside from being just generally a lovely and excellent boss, this year Deb managed to keep our TV production going through some of the most full on Covid lockdowns in the world. She kept me employed and busy during an otherwise pretty scary and rubbish time, and I will never be able to properly express how grateful I am for that.

I this episode I call my kid friend, Arty, and I tell him a joke.

Every year, Arty's parents make him the very best advent calendar, full of small but wonderful treats for the lead up to Christmas. Today Arty got a t-shirt featuring his favourite Animal Crossing villager, Poppy. And in case you don't know, Animal Crossing is a Nintendo switch game that I'm pretty sure got about 50% of the world's population through lockdown. Arty gave me a tour of his Animal Crossing Island, and it is very impressive.

I met Michelle through work, when it was my job to harass a bunch of actors to be where they needed to be when they needed to be there. But I don't think I ever had to to tell Michelle to do anything, because she is professional, and organised, and lovely, and just an absolute dream of a human. I am very grateful that, even though we don't work together anymore, she still lets me hang out with her. Marina has a giant dog named Damo, who came into her life as a foster dog, but became a forever family member pretty quickly. It is my firmly held belief that anyone who can't help keeping a dog they only meant to foster is a better than average person. Marina is FAR better than average. Also, how great is the name Damo for a dog? It's great.
