Will and Chris moved away from the city during lockdown, and now they're living in a place with a yard, and trees, and fresh air, and they are in the process of convincing every bird in the area to sit on their hands and/or shoulders. I just can't wait until I can get out there to visit, and try to move in on all of their bird friendships.

In this episode I call my aunt, Linda, and I tell her a joke.

I recently stayed with Linda for a week after not seeing her for about 15 years, and on the first morning, when I was feeling a bit shy, she called out "We'll be lounging in our pyjamas for at least two hours!" and that's when I knew we were a good fit. Linda is lovely and loving, and I'm glad to officially have it on the record that she and my Uncle Bill are going to come and visit me in Australia.
