When we live in obedience to God's will and have a strong relationship with Him , our prayers are answered , we rest secured , are at peace and our sleep is sweet . But being away and disconnected from God, makes us anxious , fearful , hopeless and even depressed .

Let us do an internal check up right now to see do we experience God's grace in every aspect of our lives , or are there areas in which we are struggling .

Then let us surrender especially those challenging areas of our lives to the Lord and Trust in Him and watch as He takes control and goes ahed of us and makes the crooked places straight .

In today's culture and lifestyle , we often feel stressed out and overwhelmed . But the Lord Almighty tell us in Philippians 4:6-7 " Worry about nothing and pray about everything with thanksgiving ."

If we are able to put this principle into action along with Proverbs 3:5-6 then our lives will be the "abundant life " which Jesus has promised in John 10:10

So let us not just be the hearers of the Word but also the doers!!

From the readings in Matthew 16 we are able to see clearly through the example of Peter when we walk in accordance to the guidance of the Holy Spirit , we get revelation , power but when we walk according to our own understanding , we falter and fall short of the glory of God

Let us turn to God and ask for His wisdom and will to be done in our lives . Let us stop struggling with the things of the world and trying to do everything through our might and power . It is not by our reliance on our intellect or physical strength that can we achieve true success but by our trust and faith in God's power to do miracles in our lives .
