We are children of the Living God , we live in peace but we declare war against all the works of the enemy .

Psalm 120:7

In this busy and chaotic world it is so easy to put God in the back burner and deal with the urgent things .

But let us take a step back and breath deeply and focus on the important things in life , which sustain us , strengthens us , helps us , guides and protects us ...this is exactly what the Lord God Almighty does and wants to do for each and everyone of us .

Let us choose God first today and experience His grace and power !!

Let us purify our hearts developing a close relationship with the Lord God Almighty . Let us continue to renew our mind with His Word , so that we are transformed and no longer conformed to the patterns of this world .

For we may live in this world but we are not according to this world because Jesus Christ has chosen us - John 15:19-20

The Lord God Almighty ask us to look for His righteous ways and walk on it so that we may find peace in our lives .

Are we trusting and surrendering to God's will in our lives or striving according to our own understanding .

The Word of God is living and active , let us not believe in the lies of the enemy but rely on God's promise which lead us to live a life of obedience and trust in Jesus Christ , the only way to the Father .

When we live in obedience to God's will and have a strong relationship with Him , our prayers are answered , we rest secured , are at peace and our sleep is sweet . But being away and disconnected from God, makes us anxious , fearful , hopeless and even depressed .

Let us do an internal check up right now to see do we experience God's grace in every aspect of our lives , or are there areas in which we are struggling .

Then let us surrender especially those challenging areas of our lives to the Lord and Trust in Him and watch as He takes control and goes ahed of us and makes the crooked places straight .

In today's culture and lifestyle , we often feel stressed out and overwhelmed . But the Lord Almighty tell us in Philippians 4:6-7 " Worry about nothing and pray about everything with thanksgiving ."

If we are able to put this principle into action along with Proverbs 3:5-6 then our lives will be the "abundant life " which Jesus has promised in John 10:10

So let us not just be the hearers of the Word but also the doers!!

From the readings in Matthew 16 we are able to see clearly through the example of Peter when we walk in accordance to the guidance of the Holy Spirit , we get revelation , power but when we walk according to our own understanding , we falter and fall short of the glory of God

Let us turn to God and ask for His wisdom and will to be done in our lives . Let us stop struggling with the things of the world and trying to do everything through our might and power . Instead let us reach out to the Lord Almighty and ask for His good pleasing and perfect will to be done in each and everyone of our lives .
