I've been in relationships where people have taken advantage of me. Sometimes, one's kindness can be misconstrued as an invitation to continually call upon them for assistance of some kind. Being used by others is not only an unfair and unfortunate lifestyle choice but one that is both degrading and offensive. However, of late, I've had a dramatic change of heart. I realize now that I actually enjoy being used...but not in the same context as in prior years.
