Hello!

I am grateful for my curiosity- for it has led me to more inner peace than I've ever had before. I was raised in the Catholic faith, in a non-legalistic, unconditional love kind of way. My experience of and with the Catholic faith was beautiful. I went to Sunday school, some of my favorite teachers were friends of our family and I learned a lot about community. I then went off to a Lutheran college, dated a Nazarene guy, a non-denominational Christian and partners with zero faith/belief. My journey with spirituality has been challenging, emotional and confusing. Looking back, I now see why my path developed as it did. I am made of Love. We are Love. Love has no religion or denomination.

The moment I gave myself permission to first see a psychic in New Orleans- it felt something like coming home. Never have I felt so at home or at peace. The first time my grandmother, Margaret, came through and spoke to me- I had tears running down my face for the next hour. I felt this remarkable feeling of closure, validation and like I was truly "seen" and surrounded by love all of the time.

Do you need to have discernment when selecting a spiritual medium? Absolutely- same as you would any doctor, dentist or friend. I've met with many over the years and am now much more confident with my ability to discern who I want to work with and when they have pure intentions. This is why I'm SO excited to introduce you to one of those pure souls- Adriana Larsen. I met Adriana through my friend and colleague, Kristin Wise of Wise Holistic Healing. Adriana is pure, compassionate and very laid back.

"I am a spiritual medium and tarot/oracle card reader. I am a wife and stay at home mom to 2 amazing little boys, I also have my associates degree in clinical laboratory sciences. I have had these abilities to speak to Spirit since I was little but pushed them aside as I grew up. My goal is to help my clients heal, get closure, or validation that the path they are on is the right one in a non-intimidating relaxed atmosphere. I wandered into a booth at the local farmers market one beautiful, sunny afternoon in Everett, WA. I was immediately struck by the feelings that were described and the trees that were pictured alongside them. I'm so excited to introduce you all to Tracy Mazuer!!

Tracy grew up in Kansas City, MO and graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in journalism. She began her career in Kansas City as the regional public relations manager for major motion picture companies including Disney/Touchstone, 20th Century Fox and Orion Films helping to bring now classic films like Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure to Mystic Pizza, The Abyss, Say Anything, and Turner & Hooch to the masses. Tracy spent her next three decades in Hollywood as a television producer, writer, director, and consultant for some of the biggest series on network television and top-tier cable. From Bachelors and Bachelorettes to Deals and No Deals, from the Littlest of People to Biggest of Losers, from Millionaire Matchmakers to Long Lost Families, from A-list celebs to D-list and beyond, Tracy’s experience has covered all areas of daytime and primetime programming. The rigors, insanity, and cutthroat nature of the entertainment industry led Tracy to write a snarky blog called "The Reluctant Genius" offering advice on how to survive in Hollywood. The blog became a cult favorite in those circles and inadvertently launched a consulting side-hustle where Tracy worked one-on-one with (mostly) women in the field who were experiencing mean bosses, the patriarchy, repeated unemployment, burnout, and stress beyond belief.


🎥 FROM TV PRODUCER TO ARTIST 🌳
One fateful day in 2019, while running a show with a host of particular issues, Tracy decided that instead of tearing out her hair, she would take breaks, breathe, and doodle on her desk calendar. Trees emerged that expressed exactly what she was feeling — chaos, anger, frustration, with hints of light and joy. There were so many feelings packed into these doodled trees. She took her trees home, magnetized them to the fridge, and her husband immediately declared her a “Toddler Savant." Tracy's foray into her forest was unknowingly taking root. 

She was unceremoniously (but happily) fired a month after the aforementioned doodle. Her friends and colleagues encouraged her to run with the trees she had continued to draw and the stories she had begun to draw. Hesitant to believe this lark could become anything, Tracy fought the idea until a dear friend gave her the Google Domains gift of www.treeshavefeelings.com. Still shaky in her belief and reticent to move forward, another lovely friend began building the website on her own, despite Tracy's fear of moving forward. Surrounded by this level of love and support, Tracy relented and took the grand leap of faith into the world of her trees and all of their feelings.

She and her husband, John, now run TREES HAVE FEELINGS--an online and art festival tree boutique--from Bellingham, WA.

I met Jered about 10 years ago when I first sat down in his chair at Headlines in University Village to have my hair cut. He and I immediately connected and began to learn more about each other.

Jered is a master hairstylist located in the Pacific Northwest. He has participated in training all over the United States with a focus on hair design and blonding at the prestigious Bumble and bumble University in New York City. He fancies himself a “spare-time” chef with extensive semi formal training in the culinary field as well. He and his partner Jake are avid world travelers and can often be found curled up in their living room with their beloved kitties, planning their next adventure. From the frozen tundra waterfalls of Iceland to the volcanic Hawaiian Islands, or jungles of Costa Rica, there’s no place off limits in their adventurous minds.

In This Episode: Spirituality and diving into the "unknown" have aided me in my mental health more than I can fully explain. I believe curiosity and having an open mind have provided me with a perspective that brings me deep peace. I was referred to Anne through a colleague, and I was thrilled to meet with her. We met twice for past life channeling and then once for past life regression, and each session made a massive impact on my life.

I'm excited to introduce you all to one of my favorite humans today, Jake Cookston. Jake Cookston is Fiance to the infamous, Jered Burton- one of my best friends and hair stylist that I talk about all the time on social media. Jake and I share a similar perspective and desire to change the world. In this episode we begin by sharing part of his story- his vulnerability, sense of humor and desire to speak the truth is what you'll hear. This is absolutely what caught me when I first met  him, and I am blessed to call him my friend.
