It's been over a month! Did you miss us? In this episode Neysa gives us a stunning definitely non white guilt related telling of a Japanese screen painter from the 16th century Kano Eitoku, this dude was a screen making L E G E N D. Jocelyn brings us back around to a PTSD inducing name we all remember Franz Kafka in all of his buggy glory. It's not our usual since he's a writer but hey we didn't specify that art history was limited to the multi-media arts did we? We might've - but who cares! We do what we want! We also talk about our personal lives obvi, some information on Neysa's dental journey, baby shower tales and how roommates work. This episode Jocelyn takes you into the wonderful and hyper-realistic? world of Janet Fish which she picked for her own very super special, super serious reasons. Taking it back to the turn of the century, the 20th century that is, Neysa gives you a grounding history lesson surrounding the time period known as The Gilded Age with a sprinkle of information on how this affected artists of the time. Never ones to disappoint they wrap the episode with a perfect slice of dating escapades and a rant about how to talk to yourself when you're on a terrible date with an average dude. Neysa brings us the deets about The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, located in Sarasota, FL and Jocelyn brings us some tantalizing Art Scams ("Take The Money and Run" Jens Haaning, MSCHF's Andy Warhol 'Fairies' forgeries) from recent months! Jocelyn might have said 100 at one point but really meant 1,000 - she's just bad at reading numbers.

I also want to acknowledge that I was very insensitive with my comments about homeless people and I had originally cut it but in an effort to be transparent, I left it in. I also took the time to check out some resources for helping the homeless and want to share one that I thought was fairly accessible HERE - I usually donate my stuff to charity when I can, but not salvation army because they're anti LGBT+

Back with a real banger of an episode that'll probably give you a headache because of the hiss that happened since I cranked up the input 'cause our special guest Lauren (aka "Bunny") doesn't talk real loud!
