In today's podcast episode, we delved into Seth's experience of posting on Instagram once a day for 30 days and explored both the good and the bad. We also specifically focused the beginning of the episode on how some photographers may be losing interest in their craft due to an over-reliance on social media growth. Our theory is as the landscape of social media becomes increasingly challenging to navigate, photographers who have mentally invested solely in building their online presence are finding themselves at a loss and lacking a sense of purpose with their cameras if they don't want to bend to algorithm changes. We discussed the importance of diversifying one's interests and pursuits beyond social media to maintain genuine passion and fulfillment in photography.

Big shoutout to this week's #TPMartwork feature @jakepadilla.photography with his photo of the recent solar eclipse. We picked this photo for its simplicity and to celebrate committing to a tough shot as well the preparation needed. Congrats Jake! Be sure to check out more of his work and keep submitting to the hashtag for your chance to have your image featured and talked about on a future episode!
Thanks for listening!
