Wherein Courtney and Lee discuss American food vs. European food, if these classifications even exist, and whether or not one is objectively “better” than the other. Also, continuing on with the life cycle of food consumption, we discuss how much bathroom time is too much bathroom time… And whether men are guilty of testing those limits. On Courtney’s big move, a new project we will be starting (very, very soon!!) and some other non-political frivolity on a very somber day. (At one point I talk about the new community I have for my website… you can find it here. It’s more aimed towards cooking/travel stuff and is solely a Sweet C’s thing, which won’t be 90% of this audience’s interest, but linking if you’re curious about this new publisher-first platform.)

We’re back in the swing of things after a chaotic summer - and we’re hoping to pick back up on a twice a week schedule (plus some other fun new stuff!)

We’re talking the burrito wars and economic realities this episode… and go back and forth a bit, but we’re going to get into a big portion of this discussion the next episode and focus solely on how to do things like shop grocery sales, plan out a food budget and easy ways to learn to cook at home, as it appears much of America has forgotten these things.

You can tell I was feeling kind of sick on this (and we talk over each other a bit) and now I have a full on man cold (rip)… we will see if we do another tomorrow or not. If not, back to it next week before the big move at the end of the month!

I came up with as many euphemisms as I could for this, you’re welcome. Summer continues to be chaotic, we didn’t forget we pretend to have a podcast.

We started this just because we love to chat and have fun goofing around here, but now that we (somehow) have more followers, we’re going to try to figure out video, and possibly better scheduling. After Courtney is less insane from moving to Boston in a few weeks we might try out some videos? Stay tuned.

We haven’t given up this podcast, don’t worry - summer and Courtney chaos has kept us both busy, but we’re back this weekend for a quick catch up!
