I Think My Fridge Is Haunted

Welcome back Fridgies, this week we dive into the deeply unpleasant story of an equally unpleasant man who almost got away with killing two of his wives and is now walking the streets of Australia again. In a horrendous year for incidents of violence against women, we want to bring to light those women whose stories go untold. Thomas Keir described himself as unlucky. Gemma described him as a dick. Gemma for the win. Plus Facts from the Freezer.

Welcome to Season 7, Fridgies! Lordy what a summer we've had in true crime circles - so much has happened and we don't think we can kick off the season until we dissect it all. Some of it is curious, some of it upsetting, some of it all too familiar. So this week we rattle our newspapers, push up our glasses and deliver the low down on A Very Criminal Summer.

Gemma began researching this story back in early 2020 but then that global thing happened and there seemed to be enough pestilence in the world. Now the time has come to dive deeply into another, earlier pandemic, one whose impact was so wide-reaching it's going to take two episodes to explore it. Enjoy Part 1 of The Black Death. Plus Facts from the Freezer!
