Laura Whitehorn served approximately fourteen years in prison before being released on parole for her involvement in several politically motivated bombings, including that of the U.S. Senate building in 1983. She was part of several activist groups, some of which included May 19th and the Weather Underground, before and after her time in prison to protest against what she saw as America's loss of care for humanity in its wars and political institutions. I sat down with Laura to hear her story and perspective. She is a co-founder and active volunteer with the organization, Release Aging People in Prison (RAPP).
