Season 1, Episode 5: “Decoy for a Dognapper”

When a series of local dognappings begin to worry prize-winning dog trainers, the gang offers to have Scooby Doo pose as a decoy to catch the dognappers. However, the plan backfires and Scooby ends up being dognapped. Now the gang really needs to find the dognappers, who appear to be under the command of a ghostly witch doctor.

When a woman is found dead in her car, Mulder thinks it might be related to a series of murders where the killer is finding victims through newspaper want ads. But as he and Scully investigate, it seems the killer might have updated his approach to using computer chat rooms to find lonely women. Either way, they need to find a way to stop him, before he kills again.

The executed becomes the executioner?

A man executed on death row promises he’ll come back and exact revenge on five men. Days later, a prison guard is found dead in the man’s cell. Mulder and Scully arrive to figure out what’s going on. Is it a coincidence? A plot devised before his death and carried out by other prisoners? Or has the man really returned from death as promised?

Y’all wouldn’t be having this problem if you hadn’t executed the guy. Just saying...

But when a man named Clyde Bruckman finds the body of one of the victims and seems to know more about the case than has been made public, Mulder believes Bruckman is a real psychic and can help them stop the killer.
