In this final episode of Season One, I catch up with and apologize to an announcer who was and still is the closest to me.

My Dad, John Vertigan (Senior) was a big name in Melbourne radio.

While I was pestering radio stations and winning prizes, he was holding down the busiest and most difficult gig in radio. Sports and racing co-ordinator at 3UZ.

In 1990 I discovered a style of radio that I hadn't been exposed to before. It had been done before, but I hadn't heard anything quite like it at my young age.
Rob Elliott hosted nights on Bay Fm Geelong, who were simulcasting through 3XY Melbourne.
Quite a different episode this one, because I wasn't really a 'prize pig', more of a 'contributor pig'.
