What makes you comfortable can ruin you, and only in a state of discomfort can you continually grow. In this week's episode, Ariana does her first solo podcast about stepping outside your comfort zone. Due to some recent life events, she has been pushed outsides of hers. She goes over ways to get yourself out of your comfort zone and the benefits that come with it. Life begins at the edge of your comfort zone
This week on I wear Grippy socks; we discuss High Tea Farms, aka what we call our living situation coming to an end. This has added a little stress and discomfort to our mental health. However, Ryan shares some exciting news even though he does not feel like it is; he is working on publishing a short book and has agreed to do some paid stand-up shows. We also chat about how hard starting/ already being a professional comedian can be.
On this episode, we bring back our first guest ever, Ariana's mom. We dive into some taboo topics again such as sex, masturbation, and the elusive female orgasm. We discuss the differences between men and women when it comes to seeking pleasure, and how our hormones dictate a lot of our behavior. Listen as we get very personal in an effort to make pleasure seem less scary to talk about.
Relationships are not perfect, and just because people have been together for so long does not mean they should get married just because. This week we have another special guest, Ariana's boyfriend, who she has been dating for almost ten years. They started dating in their junior year of high school when they were 17, and now that they are 27, things have changed so much.
This week Ryan returns from vacation, and we get to speak with one of the most strong and hard-working women we know, our dear friend Vanessa. March 8th is International Women's day, and we wanted to honor her and discuss what it is like being a single mom raising her daughter while working 40+ hours a week. She tells us it's twice the work, twice the stress, and twice the tears, but also twice the hugs, twice the love, and twice the pride.
In this episode, Ariana gets the chance to ask her sister some serious questions. They discuss being sworn enemies growing up, how this affects them as adults, and how birth order has played a significant role in their identity. Unfortunately, Ryan does not get a chance to join us this week because he is back home visiting family, shoutout to North Carolina. And as always, thank you for being here!
In this week's episode, we talk about friendships as "adults" and the emotional roller coaster that comes with making new friends. We hear from Ryan and his challenges with making friends after several of his best friends have passed away. Ariana also discusses her past experience with friendship breakups and how it can feel like a loss.
In this episode we hear from Ryan's brother, the Wolf of Walgreens himself. We talk about our lack of emotional connection, our past beef, and the debauchery that occurred when we all lived together at "The Bachelor Pad."
Join us as we have a very special guest and another member of our dysfunctional family, Jasmine. We talk about life in Minnesota, growing up, and Orange Theory fitness.
Join us as we check-in during this difficult week after losing our grandfather. We wanted to update you guys as we work on another episode detailing some of the events of his miraculous 100 year life.
