In this series, Bishop Malcolm uses Adam and Christ to describe the difference between religion and relationship. According to Bishop Malcolm, religion is the practice of appeasing an angry God, and most Christians spend most of their time trying to appease God rather than building a relationship with Him. Bishop Malcolm also informed us that God only sees two people, Adam and Christ. After sinning, Adam took us from relationship to religion, while Christ saved us, taking us from religion to back to relationship. However, in this concluding episode of the series, Bishop Malcolm claims that when you are born again, the part of you that is born again is your spirit man and not your mind, which is why your mind has to be renewed by the word. Therefore, after being born again, your spirit man is regenerated and recreated, making you a new person.
